Pysanky are folk art eggs made for centuries in Ukraine, traditionally by women, for the spring festivals and were eventually absorbed into Christian celebrations. In this one-day workshop, we will learn the traditional wax-resist and dye method of decorating raw eggs (non-edible) that, handled carefully, will last for years.

Participants are asked to bring six jars with lids for their own dye and spoons for dipping eggs. Wide-mouth pint (16 oz.) glass jars – peanut butter and salsa jars work perfectly.
