Held annually in September, PAAM’s Benefit Auction of Early Provincetown Art is one of our most significant yearly fundraisers, supporting our year-round educational offerings, exhibitions, and other cultural programming.

The auction features historic Provincetown artists and highlights some of the most significant names, scenes, and themes throughout the history of the Provincetown Art Colony. As well as showcasing the incredible breadth of early Provincetown art, PAAM’s annual Benefit Auction is an important fundraiser for the museum. We extend our greatest thanks to all those who continue to support and participate in our annual Benefit Auction by consigning and purchasing artwork.

THE AUCTION

This is a live auction conducted online via LiveAuctioneers.com. Visit PAAM.LiveAuctioneers.com for auction information and to view past auctions. There will be an auction preview exhibition of all available lots for three weeks prior to the live auction.

BIDDING

All bidding will take place via LiveAuctioneers.com. Absentee bidding will open several weeks before the live auction.

PAYMENT

All invoices and payments will be generated and processed via Live Auctioneers (this includes all applicable taxes based on your billing address). Invoices will be automatically sent to winning bidders to complete payment. If you have a tax resale ID, you will submit it to Live Auctioneers when you create an account.

SHIPPING AND PICKUP

Winners may pick up their lots during museum hours starting the day after the auction. Buyers are strongly encouraged to pick up or arrange shipping for their winning piece(s) as soon as possible, as PAAM has limited storage space. Shipping will be at the expense of the winning bidder.
