Fantastic Painted Furniture: Decorative Painting with Nancy Frary (4 Tuesdays)

Transform old unused pieces of furniture into works of art! If you can hold a paintbrush, you can master the methods used in this 4-week class with artist Nancy Frary. You’ll use acrylic paints to learn a number of basic decorative painting techniques that will turn your piece into a unique expression of your creativity – it might even become an heirloom. Students will need one sanded and primed piece of small furniture – a small side table, chair, candlestick, frame, jewelry box, or any other structurally sound wooden item of your choosing.

Nancy Frary is a retired educator, marketing executive, and former owner of Yellow Dog Designs. She has been a successful decorative painter for more than 20 years.
