Four Tuesdays, beginning July 9 from 10:30am-1:00pm. Admission: $160.00.

Try something new, creative, and fun! We will be printing and using monotype prints (done using a gelli-plate) in combination with found papers, old monotype prints you may have or cut up paintings to experiment and make wonderfully creative mixed media paintings. We will use acrylic paint, handmade stamps, linoleum cut blocks, stencils and all sorts of unusual things to make patterns, textures and details.
Colorful exciting results take place when you open up your imagination and have fun. This class meets in the Fresh Paint studio on the upper level of the Education Wing.

Materials: Acrylics, paper- all kinds of light to medium weight papers, rice papers, textured paper, stencil paints, craft acrylics, block printing ink ( if you have water-based-only), sketch book, pencils, colored pencils (if you have them), scissors, acrylic brushes- small, medium and large old– ones are fine, water container, paper towels, sponge, xacto knive, any textured material that could make an impression.
