The Atwood Museum and Chatham Historical Society is happy to announce the return of our Cemetery Walk and Ghost Tour on October 19, 2024. Join us for a stroll through Chatham’s beautiful and historic Peoples’ Cemetery, the resting place of some of Chatham’s most famous and influential residents. A guide will walk you through the cemetery, as actors educate you on the lives of several selected Chatham residents and about the history of the cemetery itself. The tour will be a roughly 1-hour walk through Peoples’ Cemetery. This is a family friendly event, adult tickets are $30/person and children are $10/person.
Peoples’ Cemetery is located at 200 Stepping Stones Lane in Chatham. Transportation to the event will not be provided. Please park at the tennis courts across the street from the cemetery. In the case of inclement weather, a rain date is scheduled for November 2. You will receive an email from us the morning of, notifying you of any cancellation.
