Burgess and Betsy Bray, an international authority on Beatrix Potter, will discuss well-known differences and fascinating little-known similarities between the two esteemed 20th century children’s authors. First published in 1902 and 1910 respectively, Potter and Burgess’ children’s books were a near-instant success in the dawning years of children’s literature and have continued to be popular into the 21st century.
