African Dance, with Victoria Brown

Join instructor Victoria Brown for a fun high energy beginner’s African dance class. This class is open to all levels of experience. Each class begins with a warmup routine and then students will be instructed how to move across the floor using basic African style dance moves and dance sequences.

Victoria Brown is the founder of Dance Therapy 508. Dance Therapy 508 hosts fun themed dance parties for all occasions for children & adults, creates wedding entrance dances and offers additional services so that party planning may be done in one spot.
In addition to hosting dance parties and party planning, Dance Therapy 508 is currently building a cultural dance education program with classes you wouldn’t necessarily find in your traditional dance studio on Cape Cod. Victoria currently trains with Ramiro Vaughan “Purpose” and Russell “Gutta” Ferguson, dancers and choreographers of Boston. Victoria was also an understudy to Carl Alleyne, founder of Boston Mobile Dance Studio, The Beantown Lockers, and Dance Where You Are. For 10+ years Victoria danced with Tara Murphy and Cape Cod African Drum & Dance and Ensemble and spent some time with Benkadi, a West African Dance Ensemble in Cambridge, MA.
