29 Mar What’s Happening at the 2018 Festival of Museums
Join us on Saturday, April 28 at the Hyannis Youth and Community Center from 10 am to 4 pm. It’s all FREE.
Last year’s inaugural festival attracted 60 museum exhibitors and 1,000 visitors. We expect an even bigger turnout. It’s a great way to learn about museums from Falmouth to Provincetown all at one time in one place.
In addition to the exhibits, here’s just some of what’s planned for the day.

The performances are very active, encouraging kids and parents to sing and dance along with the band as they entertain with a unique combination of original songs, masterful shadow puppetry, storytelling and just plain old good fun. Tom and Mr. Vinny will be sure to bring you and your little ones a fun time!

You might find Cap’n Rob to be a familiar face! He is known for Cape Cod Children’s Museum & Cape Cod Maritime Museum’s co-produced annual ‘Pillage the Village” event that takes place in Hyannis the last Sunday in July.
Cap’n Rob will be ashore swaggering about the Festival to meet and greet land-lubbers, spread good tidings, sing a song or two, and maybe even share some of his booty with friendly little swashbucklers!
