Heritage Museums & Gardens, announces the appointment of Anne Scott-Putney of Claremont, CA, as its new President & CEO.

In her new role, Scott-Putney will lead Heritage through its 50th Anniversary Year and the opening of the new McGraw Family Garden of the Senses. She will focus on community engagement and raising contributed support for capital projects that will further enrich the Heritage experience for all visitors.

A veteran development professional with more than two decades of experience, Scott-Putney brings a broad range of skills to the position.

Most recently, she served as Chief Advancement Officer at Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Garden in Claremont, CA, responsible for development, membership, communications, admissions and volunteer programs. She was deeply involved with gallery shows and exhibit development.

Prior to joining Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Garden, Scott-Putney was a development professional in education and CEO of a charitable foundation. She was the Vice President of Sheil & Associates, a communication and marketing firm serving the education and nonprofit sector.

A graduate of Dartmouth College, Anne also holds an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and is a Certified Specialist in Planned Giving.
